Whipper Snapper

For a Longer More Effective Whip!

Snap on the Whipper Snapper.  High Sierra's new Whipper Snapper is a 16 foot extension reel for the whip on your HS-1800/Pro, Sidekick or other antenna.  The Whipper Snapper dramatically increases the efficiency of the antenna system by making the whip much longer.  On the lower bands, this will add several db and is much better than a capacity hat.

Also, for NVIS purposes, this can be strung out close to the ground for a cloud burner.  You can get a nearly vertical lobe with the Whipper Snapper close to the ground. 

We have a clip on the end of the line to connect to the top of your whip.  Then you just run out the reel of wire.  You can hang the reel from a tree, a nail or just tie it around something.  It is fast and easy to install.  Try our new Whipper Snapper for a bigger signal.
