This is the standard stainless steel whip that we have manufactured here since 1993.  The HS-110A/PC Whip is powder coated black, white or gray so that it matches the color of the antenna.  You can pick the color using the Product Options box at the bottom of this page.    

The HS-110A/PC can be used with the HS-1800/Pro and the Sidekick Antennas.  When used on the Sidekick in place of the 3 foot whip efficiency on the lower frequencies is improved.

The current production whip is actually a little less than 6 feet.  The rod is stainless steel and the ferrule is brass.  The entire whip assembly is powder coated.  The diameter of the rod tapers from about .200 to .100 inch.
