Sidekick Antenna 

Your Transceiver's Best Friend! 

The Sidekick is the world's best selling, small, motorized HF antenna using the Black Hawk Motor.  The Sidekick is just 15 inches tall and it tunes from 3.7 to 54MHz with our 3 foot stainless steel black whip.  It can also tune 160 meters with our Six Shooter Capacity Hat and an 8.5 foot whip.  The Sidekick is truly an amazing little antenna that does it all!

The Sidekick has a durable textured black powder coated baked-on finish.  It is not spray painted.  All of the fasteners are stainless steel with a black finish.  We don't use any pop rivets.

High Sierra uses computer driven machines to assure high quality and uniform parts.  In one of the pictures above, you can see a Sidekick tube being drilled by a machine.  We manufacture antennas by the hundreds in order to meet the demand. 

Contact with the coil is made using our patented stainless steel contact spring.  We don't use hazardous Beryllium fingerstock that is glued in place as the others do.  Our contact spring is easily replaced.  

The Sidekick comes complete with a three foot long black stainless steel whip, our standard HS-800/Pro Controller and RF Filter Assembly.  The bottom of the Sidekick has a 3/8-24 threaded hole.  We have many mounts for the Sidekick.  You can pick one of the mounts by clicking on the link, selecting a mount and then click on buy. 

We also now have Boots for our Sidekick.  So if you want your Sidekick to be taller, our Boot is the answer.  It is a two foot long extension tube machined to match the Sidekick. 

You may also substitute one of our EZ-Tune Controllers in place of the standard controller for your Icom or Kenwood transceiver. It adds just $50 to the price of the package.  Choose one of the EZ-Tune Controllers in the Production Option box below.
