High Sierra Ground Strap

This Really is the Best Ground Strap

 You Will Ever Use! 

We make this ground strap because it works. It is not a braid. It is a twist. You've never seen anything like it. Every four inches we install an eyelet with a 1/4 inch hole. That hole makes this ground strap easy to install. Our ground strap is then covered with black vinyl. This ground strap really works.

Probably the most important connection for a mobile installation is the ground. Without a very low impedance ground strap, the antenna will not perform properly. We cover this ground strap with a black heat shrink tubing.

You can also use High Sierra's Ground Strap to ground your equipment at home.  Because it already has holes, you can run it from the rig to the amplifier and then to the ground connection. 

Keep in mind that this is sold by the foot. So enter the number of feet in the Quantity box at the bottom of this page.  Typically, you will need about 3 feet for a mobile installation.  If you are grounding your station at home, the quantity would be much larger. 

No kidding, this is really good stuff.  And, you can't buy it anywhere else but High Sierra Antennas. 

Also, this is important, the ground strap comes with a black vinyl coating.  You MUST remove the coating at the eyelet shown in the picture.  You simply strip away the exterior coating at the eyelet to expose the conductive part of the ground strap at the eyelet.  I know, it is hard to believe but this has happened so many times we've lost count.
