Sheriff's Lightning Arrestor

Although it looks big in the picture, it is really only about .3 by .25 inches.  This is a specially designed gas discharge tube for the Sheriff's Lightning Arrestor.  It can handle about 2.3KW into an SWR of about 2:1.  Since legal limit is 1.5KW PEP, there is plenty of head room.
