Hitchin' Post

Hitch Up Your Antenna!

This is an easy and fast way to install an antenna that has a standard 3/8-24 thread. For example, it can be used with the High Sierra Sidekick Antenna, stick type antenna, Hustler and many others.

We punch the Hitchin' Post from thick stainless steel so it won't rust.  For appearance purposes, we then powder coat the stainless steel with a black finish to match the Sidekick Antenna.  It can also be used with our Sierra Slim Antennas.

The Hitchin' Post comes complete with a 3/8-24 threaded post and nut.  On the bottom there is a standard coax connector (SO-239). There is also a stainless steel screw for the important ground (earthing) connection. That screw is designed to mate with our HS-GS Ground Strap.  Three feet of HS-GS Ground Strap is included.

The Hitchin' Post can be installed under the trailer ball.  There is a large, 7/8 inch hole.  The Hitchin' Post is approximately 2 inches by 8 inches.  The Hitchin' Post can also be installed using a large bolt and nut.
